(inclusive of London allowance)£31,905 - £34,604 per annumDuties and ResponsibilitiesApplications are sought for an Administrator to assist Professor John Collinge in his role as Neurodegenerative Theme Lead for the UCL/UCLH Comprehensive Biomedical Research Centre (CBRC). The Theme Lead provides high quality research leadership for translational research in the field of Neurodegeneration; the Administrator will assist in promoting high quality translational research in line with strategic goals, provide administrative and coordinating support to the management of the research portfolio, and monitor quality and performance. In particular, the appointee will set up new administrative systems for record, audit, progress-tracking and monitoring purposes; initiate and maintain databases; and prepare regular financial summaries. The post is available immediately and is funded by the CBRC for twelve months in the first instance. Key RequirementsApplicants must have proven Higher Education and/or NHS research administrative management experience, including knowledge of appropriate financial management systems, administrative experience at senior level, and experience of budget management and financial book-keeping. A high level of expertise in MS Office, and excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are also essential.
