The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is one of the leading schools of public health. The School is a United Kingdom Clinical Research Collaboration accredited Clinical Trials Unit, conducting a large number of Clinical Trials, both nationally and internationally. We are looking to recruit a research assistant, to work closely with other members of a team running a portfolio of trials, mainly within the Trials Coordination Group of the CTU.
Applicants must have previous relevant experience of working with clinical trials and a sound understanding of good clinical practice. The successful candidate will also have excellent organisational skills including experience relevant to document and project management as well as relevant experience in IT management. A post graduate degree in clinical trials or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, is essential.

The post is part time (0.3 FTE). The appointment is available immediately and is available until March 2012. The appointment will be made on LSHTM’s Academic Pathway Grade 5 (£30,915-£35,511) pro rata per annum inclusive.
