Research Technician

King's College London - Haematological Medicine

Full-time for one year

Applicants are invited to apply for a full-time Research Technician post available for one year. The project involves the support of several preclinical and Phase II clinical trial studies of NK cells in colorectal cancer and lung cancer patients. This includes flowcytometry enumeration of lymphocytes and routine functional assessment of antibody directed cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). Samples are expected to arrive out of normal working hours and on some Saturdays. The candidate will work closely with a team of research assistants and post-docs. Independent initiative, attention to detail, and willingness to learn required. Degree or equivalent and established record of research productivity are essential.

The appointment will be made, within the Grade 4 scale, currently £24,648 to £25,294 inclusive of £2,323 London Allowance, per annum.
